The Little Engine That Could

I had always talked about P4K and compared it to the children’s story, "The Little Engine that Could”, written by Watty Piper, which I had loved as a child. It is the story of the little blue engine that had faith in itself and believed it could pull another larger engine up a high mountain. And it did. On Thursday, January 29th, 2009, I was packing up the boxes of books donated by Franklin Public School and the Toronto French School to send over to Liboré. All of them were French books, but one. Amongst the hundreds of French books was one book in English titled "The Little Engine That Could”!
